MedCentral Bump and Bruise Clinic

MedCentral’s Bump and Bruise Clinic assesses athletes to identify and manage an array of athletic injuries. Conducted by a physical therapist from our clinic, these assessments, or screenings, are provided for school age and collegiate athletes.

The assessment is free but appropriate insurance information is required. Parental permission is also required, and parents and guardians are encouraged to accompany underage athletes. Diagnostic X-rays, supplies, braces and ongoing physical therapy not covered by insurance will be the patient’s financial responsibility.

The Clinic is open Mondays from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and is located in the Sports Medicine Department in the MedCentral Wellness Complex at 1750 Fourth Street in Ontario. Services are provided August through May, except holiday weekends.

From the north: From Ohio 39 travel south to US 30 west, follow US 30 west to Ohio 309 and exit on West Fourth Street

From the south:  From Lexington Springmill Road travel north, turn right on West Fourth Street

From the east: From US 30  travel west to Ohio 309 and exit on West Fourth Street

From the west: From Ohio 309 or US 30  travel east to West Fourth Street
