CARDIAC CLINICAL TRIALS

Clinical cardiovascular research has become an integral part of patient care at MedCentral. For MedCentral and its physicians, participation in clinical trials raises the potential for improvement in patient care, adds to the body of medical knowledge and enhances national prestige. For patients, the opportunity is for improved health through leading edge medical advancements and –more importantly for some the opportunity to help improve the health of future patients. MedCentral has teamed with Mid-Ohio Heart cardiologists on a number of clinical trials encompassing the full spectrum of cardiovascular diseases. The trials range from medications to devices used in the treatment of heart disease, focusing on patients in both the hospitalized and outpatient settings. In many of these, only a select few medical centers worldwide participate, putting MedCentral in some distinguished company.
