AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) program is provided to those involved with the care of pediatric patients. PALS is an American Heart Association program. We use HeartCode PALS which is a Web-based, self-paced instructional program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to access and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning. After completing the cognitive portion of the course, students sign up to practice and test their skills with an AHA Instructor. Upon successful completion of the cognitive and skills test, students receive a course completion card.
You must have a current AHA BLS card.
All (PALS) classes will be held at MedCentral Health System in Gayle Rife Auditorium.
