Ways to Give
The generous patrons that support MedCentral Health System Foundation do so because they know their gifts affect each person in the community. Indeed, when you choose MedCentral as a benefactor for a gift of funds or property, 100 percent of your gift is used to advance health care in our community. That means expert health care, close to home, for you, your family, and your friends and neighbors.
Some gifts are made to honor or memorialize a loved one. Others are given to support a specific type of care, such our CancerCare or HeartCare programs. Regardless of your intent, we will work with you to make sure your charitable goals are met and that you receive the full tax advantages available for your gift.
There are several charitable-giving strategies to consider:
Annual Gifts and Gifts of Assets
In addition to cash donations, we are happy to accept annual gifts or a gift of assets, including stocks, bonds, and property (including real estate and tangible personal property such as artwork). This option provides charitable deductions and may also offer additional tax savings. Many donors support MedCentral Health System Foundation with annual gifts.
Endowments
Endowments create permanent support specific purposes such as for equipment and programs. They also attract new, vital talent to MedCentral.
Gift Planning
From an estate-, financial- and tax-planning perspective, it is sometimes preferable to consider long-term planned giving as the best way to make a gift. This can be accomplished in various ways, such as charitable trusts, gift annuities and bequests. With a planned gift you have the additional satisfaction of knowing you are providing for the success of the MedCentral Health System and better health care for many years to come.
