Image-Guided Radiation Therapy

Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) is a suite of tools provided by Varian with our linear accelerators to provide a means for effectively handling inter- and intrafraction motion. The tools work together to achieve better target localization through planning and treatment, and allows us to focus on localizing and managing motion based on internal anatomy, not just on the conventional external marks or tattoos.
