NRP Simulation and Debriefing Skills Class

The NRP Online Examination (6th Edition offered through HealthStream)
The online examination replaces the written test, and will be hosted on HealthStream.  Beginning January 1, 2012, providers will need to self-study the NRP Textbook, and complete the online examination prior to attending a course.  You will be assigned the exam once you sign up for a skills class by the HealthStream administrator.

After online testing is complete, students receive a printout indicating which lessons have successfully been completed and the date of completion.  The student will then present the printout within 30 days to the instructor for verification of completion.  If the learner fails one or more lessons on the online test, the lesson(s) may be retaken one time within 14 days.  If a learner fails any lesson 2 or more times, no printout is prepared and the learner must repay and must retake the entire exam.  If you have any questions or issues, you may contact your HealthStream administrator, Tiffany Sanders at 419-526-8761 or email: tsanders@medcentral.org.

NRP Online Examination, 6th Edition Procedure for Employees:
-  If you're having computer issues, please contact the Help Desk immediately.
-  For employees the NRP Online Examination will be assigned to you once you sign up for the NRP Simulation and Debriefing Skills Class.
-  NRP Online Examination, 6th Edition is free to employees, the first time.
-  However, if you fail the exam the first time, you will be able to take the exam again, but you will be charged a fee of $25.00.
-  All fees will be payroll deducted.
