Patients facing impending kidney failure can learn more about their treatment options at a program hosted by MedCentral Health System.
The program, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the patient education suite at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital.
The event is geared toward those who think they will need dialysis or a kidney transplant in the next six to 12 months. It will cover how the kidneys function, the disorders that can affect them and the latest options for treatment, as well as introduce new technologies for home dialysis.
Space is limited and registration is required. To register, or for more information, call Susan Foss at 419-774-0180, ext. 25.
